Over Three Decades of History Building Collections
Worldwide
Taglialatella Galleries (TG) and Dominic J. Taglialatella have been a major
force in the international art community for over 30 years, starting in 1978
in Lambertville, New Jersey and then opening on Madison Avenue in New York
City in 1981.
In 1993, TG hosted an exhibition of Dutch period work by Van Gogh which
included works of all mediums, an early highlight for the gallery. In 1995,
Dominic J. Taglialatella took fifty American collectors of CoBrA art to the
opening of the CoBrA Museum of Modern Art in the Netherlands.
The gallery moved boldly into the world of Pop Art in 2000 focusing heavily
on Warhol, Haring, and Wesselmann, quickly becoming one of the most
important Warhol dealers worldwide.
In 2001, TG opened in the heart of Chelsea at 231 Tenth Avenue in New York
and now occupies 4000 sq ft of prime ground level space. Today the focus is
on Modern and Contemporary masters from America and Europe with a spotlight
on the Pop Art Movement. Our extensive inventory includes canvas, paper, and
prints by artists such as Andy Warhol, Arman, Robert Rauschenberg, Keith
Haring, Robert Indiana, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Helen Frankenthaler, Christo,
Tom Wesselmann, Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso, Alex Katz, Roy Lichtenstein,
Damien Hirst, and the CoBrA Group.
In addition to our aforementioned masters, TG represents a mid-career
artist, Pierluigi De' Lutti from Venice, Italy. He is extremely popular in
the international art world due to successful auctions and exhibitions in
Europe and Japan.
Taglialatella Galleries continues to build significant collections for our
clients worldwide, and is constantly purchasing fine works of art with
absolute discretion.
In 2007, Dominic and Sally Taglialatella established the Katherine M.
Taglialatella Foundation, a non-profit organization that donates 100% of all
proceeds raised to provide tuition for minority students of single parents
for the Mount Carmel-Holy Rosary School in East Harlem.
Today Taglialatella Galleries has locations in New York and Palm Beach.
